The Cannes Film Festival chose the film “Indiana Jones, Remains of Destiny” for its 2023 schedule. The event will take place between May 16 and 27 – just over a month before the film’s world premiere.

It is the fifth film in the franchise. “Indian Jones” and the first without direction Steven Spielberg. This time, James Mangold (from “Logan”) is the director. please note that Harrison Ford haven’t done the character since “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” (2008), which also happened to premiere at Cannes. The new film also serves to commemorate the actor’s 80th birthday.

Harrison Ford received an invitation from Marvel
